Student Information

Online Distance Education (DE) Exams are proctored for Faculty who have made arrangements for this service with the Testing Center. A student enrolled in a DE course that has an exam to be taken at the Testing Center will need to register for their testing appointments via MavLINK.

Note: you can check in to take the exam anytime that day between the times noted. You will not be able to take the Exam if you check in outside the times noted.

The Testing Center must receive approval from your instructor before you schedule to take an exam outside the testing window dates. There will be a $10.00 fee for this service. Examinees must pay the $10.00 fee at the time of their appointment (prior to testing) in the UNO Testing Center Office. Cash, check or credit card are acceptable forms of payment. (The $10.00 fee is subject to change at any time.)

The UNO Testing Center administers Online Distance Education (DE) Exams Monday–Friday on the day scheduled, between the times noted, in the Testing Center Office.


Faculty Information

Online Distance Education (DE) Exams are proctored for Faculty who have made arrangements for this service with the Testing Center. Approved faculty will need to fill out a DE Request Form, available upon request.

There will be walk-in appointments at the Testing Center for your exams on the scheduled Testing Window Dates. The maximum window for an exam will be five days. The Testing Center is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday – Friday. All DE Exams will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. on the scheduled Testing Window Dates. Exams will not be scheduled when the Testing Center is not open. Please share the dates there will be walk-in testing for your exam(s) with your class.

Students will be able to take your exam anytime on all the dates noted and between the times noted. If a student checks in at the ending time noted, they will have enough time to complete your exam prior to the Testing Center closing for the day. If they check in outside the times noted, they will not be able to take the exam.

If a student contacts the Testing Center to schedule the exam outside the testing window dates allowed, there will be a $10.00 fee payable to UNO Testing Center prior to taking the exam. They will have to contact you to open the exam prior to scheduling a time to take the exam at the Testing Center. The UNO Testing Center reserves the right to make changes to the guidelines at any time.
