Call for Nominations: Outstanding Faculty Service Learning Award

Every year, the UNO Service Learning Academy invites applications and nominations for the Outstanding Faculty Service Learning Awards. Service Learning Awards recognize faculty members for their extraordinary efforts in service learning programs.

Submit a Nomination Online by March 1, 2024.

Additional information to support nominations are due by April 1, 2024. This is outlined in the application information.

UNO’s Faculty Service Learning Award is presented to a full or part-time faculty member with three years or more experience with service learning, who has been supportive of service learning at UNO, and who has a thorough understanding and appreciation of community issues and prioritizes developing reciprocal, collaborative relationships with community partners.

Self-nominations are accepted if accompanied by a letter of support from the faculty member’s Department Chair, Dean of College, or someone who can speak to the depth of the faculty member’s experience with service learning.
