The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) Office of Engagement has released its 2025–26 Annual Report, highlighting a year of record-breaking students in service learning courses, growing community partnerships, impactful research, and new opportunities connecting students with the community.

This national fellowship recognizes Faizi's commitment to advancing educational opportunity, supporting refugee communities, and empowering future leaders through civic engagement.

The award recognizes individuals whose work advances civic learning and inspires greater community participation through education, leadership, and service.

Pitch 4 Progress is a social innovation pitch competition designed to fund student-led community service projects through microgrants. Submissions are due by Oct. 30, 2026.
