How can I get new employees trained to make sure we’re safety compliant?

Training can be arranged through Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) for several areas. If EHS does not provide training, they can assist you in finding a source of training. See the list of training areas and request training.

How do I pay or appeal a parking ticket?

Members of the UNO community can pay parking tickets online with MAVPark and visitors can use MAVPark Visitor.

You have 30 days after a violation is issued to appeal. Instructions are available online.

Do I need to submit a report if a student is injured in the lab?

Yes, a report is required and a injury report form is available online.

I’m planning to visit campus – do I need a parking permit?

Metered parking is available if you plan to be on campus for a short time. If you plan to be on campus for 1-3 days you can request a free parking permit in advance of your visit.

See information on how to get a visitor permit and where to park on UNO’s campus.

How do I arrange to have my mail forwarded?

Faculty, staff and anyone with a unit box through UNO Mail Services can have their campus mail forwarded using the Change of Address Form.

UNO Mail Services will forward first class and periodical mail for six months for students living on campus. See more information about ensuring proper delivery of mail for students living on campus.

Can I send mail internationally?

Yes, Mail Services offers assistance with customs forms for international mail and parcels. Visit the Mail Service counter between 8:00 A.M. and 4:45 P.M., Monday through Friday.

Can I rent a Mail Services mail box?

Yes. All UNO students, staff and faculty can rent a mail box–they are located near the Mail Services Counter in Eppley, Room 106.

The rental fee for one academic year is $15.00 for a small unit or $25.00 for a large unit. Visit the Mail Service counter between 8:00 A.M. and 4:45 P.M., Monday through Friday to arrange your rental. You will need to provide your NUID.

Can you hold my mail?

Mail Services is able to hold mail for departments, but not for individuals.

I ordered something online and it says it was delivered but I don't have it yet....where is it?

Carriers such as FedEx post items as "delivered" once they have delivered to UNO's campus. However, deliveries received must be processed by our Shipping and Receiving team before you actually receive your package. You can call Mail Services at 402.554.2337 if you'd like help tracking items. You will need to provide the tracking information.

Is Mail Services the same as the post office?

No. We are not a US post office, we are part of UNO's Support Services, a division of Business & Finance.
