Unclaimed Packages
Mail Service Needs Your Help Identifying Unclaimed Packages
The UNO Mail Services team is seeking assistance from the campus community in identifying several packages currently being held in our office.
Throughout the year, Mail Services receives packages addressed to campus locations with incomplete or generic recipient information. In some cases, packages arrive with only a general campus address, making it difficult for us to determine the intended recipient. As a result, we have accumulated several packages that have not yet been claimed.
These packages may belong to faculty, staff, or students and originate from a variety of vendors and organizations, including:
- Amazon (Fed Ex Tracking: X8433 & Amazon Tracking: X4604)
- Half-Priced Books (USPS Tracking: X4723)
- Sam's Club (Fed Ex Tracking: X5879 & X5880)
- Walmart (Fed Ex Tracking: X1195 and Wal-Mart Courier Tracking X9998)
- CenturyLink (UPS Tracking: X6247)
- Spreetail (Fed Ex Tracking: X5667 and Tracking: X6531)
- S.P. Richards (Fed Ex Tracking: X8602)
- StatLab Medical Products ( Tracking: X8433)
- ClearOne (Fed Ex Tracking: X7997)
- Richelieu CHR Retial (Fed Ex Tracking: X7264)
- Tektone Sound & Signal (UPS Tracking: X9653)
- Warrior Sales Group (USPS Tracking: X5507)
- Legrand: Chief (Fed Ex Tracking: X4032)
- Kroll Administrative Services (USPS Tracking: X4298)
- BookSmarter (Dallas Tracking X1018 and Ohio locations X2205)
If you are expecting a package from one of these vendors, recently ordered supplies or equipment, or believe a package may belong to your department, please contact Mail Services for assistance.

Unclaimed Package Policy
- To help manage storage space and ensure timely package processing, Mail Services will retain unidentified packages for 21 days. If a recipient cannot be determined during that timeframe, the package will either be returned to the vendor or, when return is not feasible, donated in accordance with university procedures.
- We encourage anyone who may be expecting a shipment from the vendors listed above to contact Mail Services as soon as possible.
Help Us Improve Package Delivery
To ensure timely delivery of future packages, Mail Services encourages all faculty, staff, and students to include the following information when placing orders:
- Full recipient name
- Department name
- Building and room number
- Campus phone number or email address, when possible
- Purchase Order (if applicable)
Providing complete delivery information helps us quickly identify package owners and ensures your items reach you without delay.
If you have questions or would like to inquire about an unclaimed package, please contact Mail Services at 402-554-3924 or unomailservices@unomaha.edu.
