Members of the UNO faculty are being asked to participate in the 2025-26 Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) survey, an effort led by the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) that UNO participates in every three years.
The survey launched Tuesday, January 13, and runs through Friday, March 13, and is available for faculty whose teaching responsibilities are at .5 FTE or higher. Those invited to participate will be contacted by email from UCLA. NOTE: Due to the University of Nebraska email platform, this email will be tagged as a "Non-NU Email" but please do not delete the email.
Through the survey, UNO's Systems Intelligence & Data Analytics Office will be able to detail areas such as faculty attitudes, workload and instructional practice, which will help shape UNO's long-term planning, support academic accreditation and identify opportunities for improvement.
The survey will also help provide comparisons to UNO's peer institutions across the country. Anyone with questions about the HERI Faculty Survey is asked to reach out to the Systems Intelligence & Data Analytics Office by emailing jgutheilbykerk@unomaha.edu.
