A Luchador. A diorama of a Mexican city block. Quilts. Portraits.
At El Museo Latino in south Omaha, UNO and the Office of Latino and Latin American Studies celebrated 10 years of ArteLatinX, the biennial art exhibit showcasing Latino culture, experiences, and identity through art.
It's a 10-year-old tradition at UNO during Hispanic Heritage Month that draws students from multiple disciplines, as well as people from the Omaha community, all gathered to celebrate Latino art from across the Great Plains region.
The exhibit runs from September 18 to October 16.
