Flag Lowering for Tom Bragg

The UNO flag lowered, blowing in the breeze while on a flag pole.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Sept. 23, in memory of Thomas "Tom" Bragg, Ph.D., who recently passed away. The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Tom's loved ones during this time.

About Tom

Tom was a professor of Biology in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), and began his career at UNO on Aug. 26, 1974.

Dr. Tom Bragg devoted more than five decades to the University of Nebraska at Omaha, leaving an extraordinary legacy through his teaching, scholarship, and stewardship of Glacier Creek Preserve. His vision shaped not only the landscape of the preserve, but also the lives of countless students, colleagues, and researchers. He will be greatly missed.
