The Maverick Store Adoption and Insights Portal is Open for Spring 2027 Course Material Adoptions

The Maverick Store’s Adoption and Insights Portal (AIP) is now open for Spring 2027 course material adoptions. The portal provides faculty and department administrators with a streamlined, centralized way to research, select, and submit textbooks and other course materials.

Timely course material adoptions help ensure students have access to the correct materials before classes begin while providing the Maverick Store with additional time to identify affordable purchasing and digital options. Early adoption also supports UNO’s broader efforts to promote student success and retention by helping students understand and plan for course material costs.

Spring 2027 Adoption Deadlines

• Spring 2027 Course Materials: Oct. 16, 2026
• First Day Digital Content: Submit requests as early as possible. No new First Day additions can be accepted after Nov. 23, 2026.

• Search for and adopt course materials in one location
• Compare estimated student costs and available formats before making selections
• Explore affordable alternatives, including Open Educational Resources (OER) and BNC OER+ courseware
• Review cost-saving options for students, including Price Match and First Day programs
• Access support 24/7

Please Submit an Adoption for Every Course

Faculty are asked to complete the Maverick Store adoption process for all courses, including those using Open Educational Resources (OER) or courses for which no materials are required. Completing an adoption for each course provides an important communication and verification step, confirming that course material needs have been reviewed and helping ensure students receive clear and accurate information before the semester begins.

Many students rely on the Maverick Store because it provides convenient access to required materials and allows eligible purchases to be charged to their student account. Having complete adoption information allows the store to prepare appropriately and helps ensure materials are available for students who choose or need to purchase through the Maverick Store.

Accessing the Portal

Faculty members are already registered in AIP and can access the portal using their UNO credentials through the university’s Single Sign-On (SSO) system. As a reminder, there is a one-click re-adopt feature, making it easier to use previously selected materials for future terms.
