UNO’s “Dirtier Dozen” Flag Football Team Earns Third Straight Regional Title

A University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) intramural flag football team is among the best in the nation – again.
➡️ What’s new:
- “The Dirtier Dozen,” an intramural student team representing UNO Campus Recreation & Wellness, claimed their third consecutive National Intramural and Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) regional championship title at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Nov. 7–9.
- Their win qualified them for the NIRSA National Flag Football Championships, Jan. 7-9, at Rice University in Houston, Texas, but the team did not participate.

- The Dirtier Dozen were also crowned UNO’s men’s division champions before heading to regionals in Lincoln.
- Four players were named to the All-Tournament Team.
- One standout player earned tournament MVP honors.
