Students can come to UNO for an unforgettable semester of learning, growth, and friendship!

How it works

  1. Be Nominated by Your Home Institution: Ask your home institution advisor about the UNO Visiting Student Program. A nomination from your advisor is required to participate in the program. Check the list below for your institution.
  2. Apply to UNO: Upon nomination to UNO, you will receive a link to apply for your semester abroad!
  3. Experience the #1 City: After you are accepted and receive your visa, it is your time to experience Omaha, Nebraska! Orientation and arrival details will be provided for you.

Nomination Deadlines

  • Fall Semester (August - December): April 15
  • Spring Semester (January - May): September 15
