Notes on Costs

How Estimates Are Figured

  • Undergraduate costs are based on 24 credit hours for the academic year, mid-August through mid-May

  • Graduate program costs are based on 18 credit hours per academic year

  • Costs for summer expenses are not included

  • Personal expenses can vary based on a student's lifestyle

  • Transportation to and from Omaha is not included

  • Some academic programs may have different tuition rates

  • Consult with the Admissions Team about figuring your actual costs

UNO offers two intensive English options, ILUNO and IPD.

Study Abroad Costs

If you choose one of UNO’s partner universities, you pay the same tuition rate you would pay if you were staying here at UNO. Existing scholarships also apply at these same universities. Additional study abroad scholarships may be available.

Student Health Insurance

ILUNO and IPD students on F or J visas who do not have insurance provided by a government sponsor will be required to purchase the UNO health insurance plan.

Visit Health Services in the Health and Kinesiology (H&K) building for waiver information.
