Yue Song

Song has been part of the International Education field since her first part-time job. In 2016, she became the Study Abroad Coordinator at Northeastern State University (NSU) in Oklahoma. She later earned her Master of Science in Higher Education Leadership and joined the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) as the China Program Coordinator in 2019.

 

After years of studying, working, and building her life in the United States, Song is proud to call this country home and is passionate about giving back by advising students on education abroad opportunities.

 

Originally from northern China, Song spent 4 years earning her bachelor's degree in Law in southern China. Her journey - from north to south China, from China to America - has shaped her love for connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. She has travelled to Taiwan, Austria, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, further enriching her global perspective.

 

Song speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, and she continues to enjoy learning new language skills. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children.
