About Michele
Michele joined the International Student Advising team in October, 2018. Michele studied International Business and Japanese Language Studies at the University of Iowa.
She has been advising international students for 10 years and brings several years of immigration and academic advising experience to her position. Michele worked in Japan teaching English for two years in a small village in the mountains of Nagano.
She also studied abroad and experienced living with a host family in Hokkaido, Japan. Michele has traveled to several foreign countries and had the opportunity to meet friends from all over the world.
She is passionate about helping international students and scholars with immigration matters and any aspects of student life that assist students along their international education journey.
