UNO at Offutt Services
A Branch of the Division of Continuing Studies
We have a rich history that dates back to the government’s Operation Bootstrap initiative in the late 1940s, which was designed to provide commissioned officers a chance to “lift themselves up by their bootstraps” by completing a degree in post-military life.
The University of Nebraska at Omaha has had a presence on Offutt Air Force Base since 1950. In partnership with the Offutt Air Force Base Education Office, we offer a wide array of services to increase undergraduate educational opportunities for active duty military, veterans, reserve/guard, retired military, and dependents.
