  3. Division of Continuing Studies
  4. Transfer + Credits

You’ve Already Done the Work. Let’s Make It Count.

Transferring to UNO means bringing your knowledge, effort, and experience with you—not starting over. Whether your credits are recent or decades old, we welcome them. In fact, most transfer credits never expire. We’ll help you make the most of what you’ve earned and put it toward a degree that moves you forward.

UNO offers a no-cost, no-obligation transcript evaluation to help you understand how your previous college work can apply. Our team will review your transcripts and give you a personalized breakdown—so you can see your path clearly before you apply.

You might be closer to finishing your degree than you think. And that can mean saving time, saving money, and graduating sooner.

  • If you’ve already applied to UNO and have sent your transcripts to the admissions office, let us know and we’ll retrieve these documents for your evaluation.

Good to Know

Transcripts from 20+ years ago are still eligible for review. Most transfer credits never expire.

Transfer credits are applied upon admission. Transcripts must be sent directly from each institution—even if no credit was earned.
