Educational Background

Bachelor of Arts, Speech Communication, University of Nebraska-Lincoln

What I like about the BMS degree program:

I love the unique way the Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies (BMS) program fits so well for each of our students who have such diverse backgrounds, interests, goals and educational experiences. The BMS program also offers unique interest areas, such as the Library Science and Nonprofit Administration areas of concentrations.

Advice for our students:

Take full advantage of the assistance and support UNO provides, including the Speech, Writing, Math & Science Learning Centers, subject librarians, health and counseling services, instructors' office hours, and resources such as ACDC, OMVS and Accessibility Services Center. Most importantly, touch base with your academic advisor at least once a semester - they are your one-stop resource for everything UNO!

My favorite quote:

Smooth seas do not make skillful sailors. -African proverb
