Consistent with the mission of the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO), the UNO Neuroscience & Behavior program’s mission is to provide graduate students with intensive education and training in neuroscience and behavior, along with an opportunity to discover and disseminate knowledge through research presentations and publications. These educational experiences are provided by the faculty members, each of whom is actively involved in research from the molecular to whole system approaches. These faculty members, in combination with collaborations with other local institutions such as University of Nebraska Medical Center, Boys Town National Research Hospital, and the Henry Doorly Zoo, offer students a sound and varied education in neuroscience and behavior.
