For those commuter permit holders that park in the Pacific Street Garage, Parking and Transit Services will relax enforcement on the Scott Campus surface lots, 2, 4, 5, 14, and the south half of lot 9 so that they are available for alternate parking on these days.
Scott Residents that park in the garage will not have to move their vehicles, and do not need to move them if they do not plan to drive between 8 A.M. - 4 P.M. However, if they want to have them available for use before 4 P.M., they should park in a surface lot before the road is closed. Lots 2, 4, 5, 14, and the south half of lot 9 are available for alternate parking on these two days.
Shuttles will be impacted as well, and more info can be found on our Shuttle Services page.

Changes for 2021-2022 Parking
As we embrace and adjust to what campus operations will look like this fall and beyond, UNO Parking and Transit Services is preparing to meet the needs of a campus supporting pre-COVID levels of campus traffice. This means that the temporary parking policies and reduced fees implemented during remote operations will no longer be in effect this fall.
This includes parking permit rates, which will return to 2019-2020 rates. Please note that 2019-2020 permit rates were also the same rates as those in 2018-2019 and 2017-2018.
This also includes the return to designated lots for commuter students, resident students, and faculty/staff, which will require valid permits at designated posted times.
Lot restrictions have seen a change as well. Faculty/staff and commuter student permits are restricted to their permit designated lots from 7 A.M. - 2:30 P.M. Resident permits are restricted to designated lots from 7 A.M. - 5 P.M. After these restrictions end, any vehicle with a valid permit may park in any general-use stall in surface lots and garages, whether designated faculty/staff or student. As a result of this change, both faculty/staff and student Night-Only permits will now be a Surface/Garage Combo permit, valid in any general-use space on any surface lot or garage after 2:30 P.M.
In Garage news, the East Parking Garage (EPG) will be operated consistently with the West Parking Garage (WPG) and Pacific Street Garage (PSG) starting this fall. All EPG permits will be valid on all three levels of the EPG, Level 1 (bottom level), Level 2 (middle level), and Level 3 (the top level).
A new commuter student permit is being introduced this fall for the Pacific Street Garage.
Open parking on Fridays will be observed in the East Parking Garage (EPG) and West Parking Garage (WPG) on Dodge Campus, and in the Pacific Street Garage (PSG) and Lot 5 on Scott Campus.
