The University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) participates in the Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP), an interstate initiative established by the Midwestern Higher Education Compact to increase educational opportunities for students in its member states.
Students who are academically qualified are awarded scholarships to help offset the costs of out-of-state tuition.
MSEP applies to residents of:
- Indiana
- Ohio
UNO's Omaha Urban Rate (OUR) Tuition offers an equivalent tuition rate to all residents of the following Midwest Higher Education Compact states:
- Illinois
- Iowa
- Kansas
- Minnesota
- Missouri
- Nebraska
- North Dakota
- South Dakota
- Wisconsin
OUR Tuition also applies to residents of:
- Colorado
- Kansas
- Montana
- Wyoming
