Academic Program Review (APR) Timeline
APR is designed as a short, strategic planning cycle: start with a college orientation Zoom, review curated data, draft the self-study, meet with Academic Affairs, and then work with program faculty to finalize 2–3 goals by March 1.

| 3. Self-study draft | Complete the self-study template using brief, trend-focused responses. The draft is prepared by the chair, director, or GPC, in consultation with advisors and other key faculty as needed. | Draft self-study submitted by November 17th to Academic Affairs. |

Academic Program Review is a three-year planning cycle focused on continuous improvement, curricular fit, student success, markets, and sustainability.
Why this process matters
- Curated information is the same data set used for campus and state reporting, so the conversation stays grounded in shared evidence.
- The self-study is concise by design: it is meant to support discussion, not produce an accreditation-style report.
- Faculty governance is built in after the OAA meeting, when the program team identifies the final priorities and actions.
