Help A Friend

Knowing when your friend needs help and knowing what to do for them isn't always easy. It's hard to watch our friends struggle with things like addiction, breakups, and health issues.

Knowing what to do and say is important, and this collection of resources should give you a start on getting the background you need to help your friend recover. UNO wants to make sure that we support you as you support your friends. Remember, you are not alone.

With 24/7 patrols, Public Safety offers personal escorts, safety checks, and more.

Alcohol & Drug Friend Support

If you have a friend with substance use issues, we have the resources to help you approach the situation safely.
