Education will be provided to students, staff, and faculty related to hazing awareness and prevention education. These programs may be offered online or in person and will be targeted to reach all members of the University community and will be research-informed. Programs will be provided to the campus community on a rolling basis to ensure new students, staff, and faculty have the opportunity to complete the education as they join the University community.

Training

Anti-Hazing Training (Bridge LMS) - This training is available to all UNO students, faculty, and staff via the Bridge Learning Management System.

Bystander Training - Bystander Intervention Training is a campus-mandated requirement that all UNO students must complete only once during their time at UNO. It is also available for all faculty and staff. This training provides practical strategies to effectively intervene in situations where someone may be at risk, helping to foster a safer and more respectful campus community. Sign up here for an in-person training or enroll in the Bridge LMS Bystander Training here.

Student Athlete Anti-Hazing Training - This training is provided by UNO Athletics for all student athletes in the fall semester.

Student Organization Anti-Hazing Training - This training is provided by the Student Leadership and Involvement (SLI) for student organizations in each semester.

Campus Hazing Transparency Report

To be in compliance with the Stop Campus Hazing Act, the University is required to make available a Campus Hazing Transparency Report if there has been a finding of responsibility for hazing on campus. This will be updated each semester or when there is a finding of responsibility for hazing, whichever occurs first.

There were no findings of responsibility for hazing:
