Understanding of Two Sub-Paths

Per the inquiry of Metropolitan Community College (MCC) Dean of Math & Natural Sciences, two sub-paths have been drafted to support a student's preparedness for Calculus-based courses. These two separate sub-paths are noted as:
  • Calculus-Precursor
    • Intended to support a student who is developing skills/competencies by taking the following MCC MATH 2410 Analytic Geometry and Calculus I prerequisites at MCC:
      • MATH 1425 Pre-Calculus Algebra
      • MATH 1430 Trigonometry
  • Calculus-Ready
    • Intended to support a student who has developed skills/competencies required to take MCC MATH 2410 Analytic Geometry and Calculus I at MCC.
    • Students who are considered Calculus-Ready may enroll in MCC MATH 2410 with the support of their MCC academic advisor.
