Nominations are now being accepted for the Chancellor’s Outstanding Student Leadership Award.
This award recognizes an undergraduate student who has demonstrated leadership through influential participation in campus organizations and community volunteer work, in addition to scholarly achievement.
The student must nominated by a UNO faculty, staff, or student.
Requirements
In order to qualify for the Chancellor’s Outstanding Student Leadership Award, the nominee must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or above and be a graduating senior who is completing degree requirements in December 2025 or May 2026.
All nominators must submit this form and provide a Letter of Recommendation. Student nominee materials must be returned to Michelle Nelsen via email at mdnelsen@unomaha.edu by end of day, Monday, Jan. 12, 2026.
