Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center (CEC) 

The Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center (CEC) is designed to provide meeting and collaboration space at no charge for area non-profits, government agencies, educational institutions, and community groups for the purpose of community engagement.

Availability:

Monday through Thursday, 7 A.M. - 9 P.M.

Friday - 7 A.M. - 6 P.M.

We do not host:

• For-profit businesses
• Partisan events
• Individuals seeking office or groups promoting a candidate for office
• Commercial vendors
• Fundraisers
• Weddings
• Graduations
• Retirement or birthday parties
• Press conferences

College of Public Affairs and Community Service (CPACS) Commons 

Individual meetings may be booked up to six (6) months in advance. Recurring meetings cannot be booked more than a month at a time. Food and music are allowed depending on the space and arrangements.

Dr. C.C. and Mabel Criss Library 

It is recommended you book a space one to two weeks in advance, but the library will accommodate for short notices. Rooms can be booked six to nine months in advance, but cannot be booked for an entire school year or semester. Food, drink, and music varies.

UNO students, faculty, and staff can request a room in the Health and Kinesiology (H&K) building by completing an online request form. Please allow one (1) day for your request to be processed.
