Stephanie Lynam is an instructor in the Intensive English Program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (ILUNO). Having grown up in a small town in Arizona, she became interested in the cultures of Mexico and Native American Indians. She received her BA in Journalism at Western Washington University and her Masters in Language Teaching from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Stephanie has taught English and ESL for 10 years in Florida and Nebraska, and her specialty is teaching, listening, speaking and service learning. Past occupations include U.S. Navy flight attendant instructor and newspaper reporter. She and her husband have 2 grown children and 2 dogs, and she loves the outdoors and traveling, having visited every continent except Africa and Antarctica.
