Additional Information

Ketsia Watanga is passionate about global engagement and cultural exchange, having recently obtained a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from UNO. Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ketsia began her journey studying abroad in 2018 when she traveled to South Africa to start learning English. She then came to the United States in 2019 as an international student and first continued her journey to learning English at UNO's Intensive English programs (ILUNO), before starting her degree. With nearly two years of experience working as a peer mentor for international students alongside the advising team at International Programs, she has developed a better understanding of the needs of her peers. Ketsia is proud to support UNO Education Abroad and UNO International Student Advising in her position as International Programs Assistant.
