Kathy Kroeger is an instructor in the Intensive Language Program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (ILUNO). She first fell in love with travelling and learning about other cultures when she spent a year as a high school exchange student in Mackay, Queensland, Australia. She received her BA in German and Russian at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and studied at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg and at the Pushkin Institute in Moscow, Russia. She received her MA in TESOL from Michigan State University. She has taught ESL/EFL, German, Russian, and English at universities in Tennessee, Illinois, and Nebraska, and EFL methodology to teachers in Irkutsk, Siberia, Russia. She has two dogs and two cats and loves animals.
