With an area of concentration in Psychology  you will develop an understanding of physiological, emotional, cognitive and social determinants of behavior.

You will also acquire universally useful skills like communication, critical-thinking, and a proficiency with statistics and data.

* Must include at least 12 hours of upper level credit completed at UNO

A minimum of 120 hours are required for the Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies degree.

Additional Information:

  • PSYC 1020 Introduction to Psychology II and PSYC 2000 are recommended courses.
  • If you are considering graduate studies in Psychology at UNO the following are pre-requisites for admissions:
    • PSYC 3130 Statistics for Behavioral Sciences
    • PSYC 3140 Methods of Psychological Inquiry and a lecture/lab pair (lecture/labs need to be sequential in order).
    • In addition, if you are considering graduate work in psychology, it is strongly recommended that you contact the Psychology Department Chair to make an appointment to discuss your options.
