CCSGE Outstanding Achievement Award Nomination for UNO Faculty or Staff

Nominate someone or yourself for the Chancellor's Commission on the Status of Gender Equity (CCSGE) Outstanding Achievement Award. Information about 2026 nominations will be posted soon.

Criteria

The nominee should be faculty or staff of the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) that has significantly contributed to, or brought attention to gender equity issues through any or all of the following:

  • Advising
  • Mentoring
  • Education
  • Creative activity/research
  • Service
  • Leadership
  • Other activities that support gender equity issues

The nominee should have been employed at UNO for a minimum of one year. Past recipients may be eligible for re-nomination after a period of three years. Faculty and staff may nominate themselves.

Application information

The nominator will be asked to include a letter of support for the nominee that includes specific examples of what the nominee has done to improve the status of women’s or gender issues at UNO and/or in the Omaha community.

CCSGE Outstanding Community Service Award Nomination

Nominate someone or yourself for the Chancellor's Commission on the Status of Gender Equity (CCSGE) Outstanding Community Service Award. Information about 2026 nominations will be posted soon.

Criteria

The nominee should be any non-profit organization or an exemplary community individual who has a connection to UNO. Nominees should have brought attention to women or gender issues and/or advanced women or gender issues through any or all of the following:

  • Service
  • Mentoring
  • Financial support (such as scholarships, internships, distinguished professorships, continuing education programs, support services)
  • Programming
  • Other support

Application information

The nominator will be asked to include a letter of support for the nominee that includes specific examples of what the nominee has done to improve the status of women’s or gender issues at UNO and/or in the Omaha community.
