Eligible faculty may request a leave of absence for professional, personal, or disability-related matters.
Types of Leave
Professional Leave: Profressional leaves may be with pay (faculty Development Fellowships, Faculty Assistance for Doctoral Study) or without pay and are typcially planned in advance for the enxt academic year.
Personal Leave: Personal leaves are without pay or benefits contributions by the university.
Disability Leave, Parental and Family Leave: Disability Leave includes accidents, pregnancy and/or complications associated with childbirth, exposure to contagious disease, injusry or other disability, etc. Parently Leave includes maternity, paternity, and adoption lave, Family Leave includes care for a child, spouse, parent, etc.
