Biography

Jill F. Russell, PhD, oversees UNO’s institutional accreditation efforts and serves as Accreditation Liaison Officer to the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Her professional preparation and work experience has focused on educational leadership, strategic planning, program evaluation, accreditation, and assessment. Previous roles include serving as Executive Director of the Metropolitan Omaha Educational Consortium, faculty member in UNO’s Department of Educational Leadership, Assistant Dean for the UNO College of Education, and Executive Vice President for Springfield College (MA). Jill earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Ohio State University, and her doctoral degree from the University of Nebraska.
