Parking Structure Repair Work Begins on Middle Level
Facilities Management and Planning staff continues to make repairs to the University Drive East Parking Structure. The middle level will be shut down starting Friday, May 22, for surface crack sealing, cleaning and striping.
Parking will be available on the top and lower levels. Repairs are expected to take a week. Watch eNotes for updates. For more information, contact Campus Security at 554.2648.
Lot R Closed May 18-19
Lot R will be closed Monday, May 18, and Tuesday, May 19, for maintenance and striping. Weather permitting.

Parking Structure (East) Repair Work Begins This Saturday
Starting Saturday, May 9, Facilities Management and Planning staff will make repairs to the East parking structure. This project includes the sealing of the top and middle level parking surfaces, as well as brick repair⁄replacement, caulking and cleaning.
On May 9 (weather permitting), the top level will be shut down for surface crack sealing, cleaning, striping and sealing. When the top level is complete, workers will start working on the middle level. Due to time constraints and possible weather issues, it may occasionally become necessary to move between the top and middle levels. There will, however, always be at least one level open.

Closing Notice for University Drive South
Due to site utility work required for the Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) Building Renovation and Addition Project, UNO will close University Drive South Monday, April 20, through Sunday, May 3.
The drive will also be closed from the intersection of University Drive South and East in Elmwood Park, as well as west to Lot S (east side of the Central Utilities Plant - CUP). Access to both Lots S and the CUP will be available from the west on University Drive South. The HPER Building, Sapp Fieldhouse, Allwine Hall, College of Public Affairs and Community Service Building and the Ceramic/Sculpture Studio will remain accessible from University Drive South (from the west) and Maverick Plaza.

Water Line Replacement Underway Between Eppley and MBSC
Staff from Facilities, Management and Planning will work on replacing a water line between the Eppley Administration Building and the Milo Bail Student Center this week. All repairs should be completed by Monday, March 23. Drinking fountain and restroom water service to both buildings will not be interrupted. While the work is underway, parking will be restricted between the two buildings and in the small lot to the south of the Eppley Building.

Construction Zone Speed Limit Notice
UNO Facilities Management and Planning staff request drivers use extreme caution and a maximum speed of 15 mph when using University Drive South along the perimeter of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) construction site between the intersection with Maverick Plaza and Elmwood Park.
"Please slow down. This is a construction zone, with many construction vehicles - dump trucks, concrete trucks and others -- also using this road," said Audrey Buckley, project manager/architect for facilities. "We apologize for the inconveniences, and ask the UNO community for their continued patience during the construction of the HPER Addition and Renovation and the campus utility tunnel projects."

UNO Facilities Management and Planning staff requests drivers use extreme caution and reduced speed when using University Drive South along the perimeter of the Health Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) Building construction site. Pedestrians and bikers are advised to use alternate routes other than this road.
"The 'red bags' around the storm water inlets are required by law. Please drive slow and with caution around them, so as not to drag them in the street," said Audrey Buckley, project manager⁄architect for facilities. "We apologize for the inconveniences, and ask the UNO community for their continued patience during the construction of the HPER Addition and Renovation and the campus utility tunnel projects."

Fines to Increase for Counterfeit Permits and Handicap Parking
Effective Jan. 1, 2009, the fine for a using a counterfeit parking permit and unauthorized parking in a handicap stall will both increase to $100.

Lots O and Q Closed
Lots O and Q - located west of the Sapp Fieldhouse and HPER Building - will be closed starting October 13 for the HPER renovation project.

Pacific Parking Lot Notice
Starting Monday, July 14, Lot 6, located on the Pacific Location, will not be available due to the start of construction for the new College of Business Administration Mammel Hall project.

Crossroads garage adds more than 300 additional spaces
Renovations to the top of the Crossroads parking garage have finished. With that accomplished, more than 300 additional parking spaces are now available to UNO students.
The Crossroads shuttle is available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Shuttles arrive every 10 to 15 minutes and transport riders to and from high traffic points on campus.
