Parking Fee To Be Charged In Limited Lots for Nov. 21 Wrestling Tournament
During the UNO Kaufman/Brand wrestling tournament this Saturday, Nov. 21, there will be a $5 charge to park in certain campus lots from 7 a.m. to noon. However, anyone with a valid UNO parking permit will be allowed to park anywhere on campus free of charge.
The lots affected are Lots Q, R, M, T, U and V. There will be no charge to park in any other lots on campus. The Kaufman/Brand wrestling tournament is the largest single day collegiate meet in the country, attracting more than 600 competitors every year.

Up to TopDodge Location Inter-Campus Shuttle Notice
Starting Monday, Nov. 2, UNO's inter-campus shuttle will operate from 6:30am to 10:30pm Monday through Friday when classes are in session on the Dodge location only.
The shuttle will circle the Dodge location, making stops at:
The shuttle bus will be marked to distinguish it from remote parking buses that service the remote parking area at the Crossroads Mall. The new inter-campus shuttle route will run through March 14, 2010.

Up to TopChanges to Lot G (West of DSC and Annex 24)
A new parking area (Lot I) was created this summer to better accommodate visitors for student recruitment visits. Lot I is controlled via card access and is located in the northeast corner of Lot G and west of the Durham Science Center (DSC) and Annex 24 (now recently named the Welcome Center). Lot I will also be reserved for special events in the Weber Fine Arts Building.
When the gate arms are up vehicles with faculty/staff/night parking permits may use Lot I Monday through Friday 7am to 10pm, when classes are in session. After 1:30pm, all vehicles displaying a valid permit may also park in this lot.
Student Recruitment will begin campus visits on Monday, Sept. 14. Lot I will be reserved most days after that time, so please plan accordingly.

UNO Facilities Management and Planning staff request drivers use extreme caution and a maximum speed of 15 mph when using University Drive South along the perimeter of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) construction site between the intersection with Maverick Plaza and Elmwood Park.
"Please slow down. This is a construction zone, with many construction vehicles - dump trucks, concrete trucks and others -- also using this road," said Audrey Buckley, project manager/architect for facilities. "We apologize for the inconveniences, and ask the UNO community for their continued patience during the construction of the HPER Addition and Renovation and the campus utility tunnel projects."

UNO Facilities Management and Planning staff requests drivers use extreme caution and reduced speed when using University Drive South along the perimeter of the Health Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) Building construction site. Pedestrians and bikers are advised to use alternate routes other than this road.
"The 'red bags' around the storm water inlets are required by law. Please drive slow and with caution around them, so as not to drag them in the street," said Audrey Buckley, project manager⁄architect for facilities. "We apologize for the inconveniences, and ask the UNO community for their continued patience during the construction of the HPER Addition and Renovation and the campus utility tunnel projects."

Effective Jan. 1, 2009, the fine for a using a counterfeit parking permit and unauthorized parking in a handicap stall will both increase to $100.

Lots O and Q - located west of the Sapp Fieldhouse and HPER Building - will be closed starting October 13 for the HPER renovation project.

Up to TopCrossroads garage adds more than 300 additional spaces
Renovations to the top of the Crossroads parking garage have finished. With that accomplished, more than 300 additional parking spaces are now available to UNO students.
The Crossroads shuttle is available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Shuttles arrive every 10 to 15 minutes and transport riders to and from high traffic points on campus.
