SCCJ is delighted to announce that Dr. Jukka Savolainen will be joining our faculty in August 2008. Dr. Savolainen received his PhD from SUNY-Albany and is currently the Speer Visiting Professor in Finnish Studies in the Department of Sociology at the University of Minnesota. His teaching and research interests focus primarily on crime, violence, and public policy, and are often informed with a comparative/ cross-national perspective. |
