Group Fitness classes are a component of Campus Recreation and Wellness.
This program is for people looking for motivation, community, and fun workouts. Students, faculty, and staff members may participate. All fitness classes emphasize the provision of safe and effective exercise and are led by certified and well-trained fitness instructors.
All fitness levels and abilities are welcome to join classes.

Spring 2025 Updates
- Group Fitness classes are FREE for all members!
- Classes for Spring 2025 run from January 20 through May 9. Schedule changes may occur to accomodate breaks and finals week.
- Registration for each class is required. You can register up to 10 days ahead of the class date and time. Register here.
- If you would like to schedule a private class for a student organization, other group or department please email michellegeist@nebraska.edu to schedule.
Registering for a Class
- Go to Shopwellness
- Click Sign in and use NetID and password
- From the home screen click “Group Fitness Class Registration”
- Select a class you want to attend.
- Classes open ten (10) days in advance
