Wellness Coaching

Need help with a non-urgent matter affecting your overall wellness? Consider a UNO Wellness Coach!

Our Coaches work with students on matters including, but not limited to:

  • Stress reduction
  • Study planning
  • Time management
  • Academic success strategies
  • Goal setting
  • Motivation
  • Sleep strategies

Eligibility

Wellness coaching is a program for currently enrolled UNO students. Students are eligible for up to 8 sessions per academic school year.

To request Wellness Coaching please fill out the Wellness Coaching Request Form. If you have questions, please reach out to unowellnesscoach@unomaha.edu.

Wellness Coaching Overview

This program IS:

  • Focused on holistic health
  • Available to students via self-referral or through referral from a campus partner
  • Based on students’ needs and topics of interest
  • Focused on solutions and goals
  • Focused on a participant’s autonomy to choose and complete goals

This program is NOT:

  • For students seeking workout programs or personal training
  • Intended to address severe mental health concerns
  • Built to assess, diagnose, or treat mental health conditions
  • Academic advising
  • If you are looking for clinical mental health support, please contact Counseling and Psychological Services.
