Find answers to the most common questions about Rec Well. We've organized the information to help you quickly find what you're looking for. If you don't see your question here, please don't hesitate to contact us.

If you are enrolled in in-person classes or are living in the state of Nebraska you will have access to Campus Recreation and Wellness though paying UPF Fund B. Learn more about mandatory student fees.

If you are an online only student not paying UPF Fund B you are eligible to purchase a discounted student membership or guest pass to access the facility.    

While UNO faculty and staff do not receive complimentary access to the facility, they are eligible for a discounted membership rate and the option of payroll deduction. 

Campus Recreation and Wellness offer faculty and staff free access on the first Friday of every month as well as additional times throughout the year. 

Check the MavDaily or the UNO Events Calendar regularly for announcements on current and upcoming promotions. 

Just bring in your active UNO alumni card and Rec Well staff will help you purchase your Alumni membership! Not sure how to purchase or activate your UNO alumni card? Please contact unoalumni@unoalumni.org.

This membership is for anyone who is not affiliated with UNO does not fall into any other membership category, who would like to use Campus Recreation and Wellness’s facilities. 

Building Hours

Open Swim Hours

Our facility operates on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure fair access for all guests.  

Guests are welcome! Simply pay for a guest pass or a community membership. Everyone under the age of 17 years old needs to have a photo ID and a parent/guardian with them to access our facilities.

We have a mobile app! Search UNOmaha Campus Recreation in the app store to download.

You have access to a variety of spaces and amenities! This includes: 

  • basketball courts 
  • weight rooms 
  • swimming pool 
  • IPC clinic 
  • rock climbing 
  • net set ups/equipment 
  • group fitness classes 
  • locker rooms 
  • Discounted personal training 
  • Discounted rental items and trips from OVC 
Additional fees may apply for some services such as shoes for the climbing wall, or playing intramural sports. 

Memberships are non-refundable except for medical and health conditions, deployment, or extraneous circumstances. For additional information please email: unocampusrec@unomaha.edu or call 402.554.2539.

No, parking is not included in a Campus Recreation and Wellness membership.

We have a variety of equipment available for free check out, including but not limited to basketballs, volleyballs, pickleball paddles, and badminton racquets.
