About Aaron

Aaron Lor joined the University of Nebraska Omaha as an Event Coordinator in the Office of Spirit, Tradition, and Signature Events in May 2024. In his role, Lor advises Maverick Productions and UNO Dance Marathon while supporting the planning and execution of the office’s signature programs and events that enhance student engagement and campus life.

Lor earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Nebraska Omaha in May 2018. During his time as a student, he was actively involved as a Thompson Learning Community (TLC) Scholar, TLC First-Year Peer Mentor, and Resident Assistant. Lor values the connections and experiences he gained through TLC and enjoyed helping students build community while creating lasting memories on campus.

He continued his education at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, where he earned a Master of Arts in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education in May 2020.

Prior to returning to UNO, Lor held several positions in higher education, including Residence Hall Director at St. Cloud State University, Admissions Counselor at Clarkson College, and Outreach Specialist at Metropolitan Community College. Through these roles, he developed a passion for student development, engagement, and helping students navigate their educational journeys.

Lor's professional experience spans student affairs, residential life, admissions, outreach, and campus programming, all centered on fostering meaningful student experiences and promoting student success.
