Biography

Scott Dannelly joined the University of Nebraska at Omaha as a Contracts & Awards Administrator I in January 2025, after previously serving as a Grant Accountant since May 2024. He began his career in corporate tax at PwC in 2016 before returning to Omaha in 2017, where he expanded his expertise across roles in individual income taxes, audit, and legal research. His diverse background, coupled with his legal education, makes him a valuable asset to our team.

Scott is responsible for the review, processing, and administration of grants and subawards, ensuring adherence to institutional policies and sponsor requirements. This role conducts risk assessments, analyzes award terms, and monitors subawards, working closely with senior staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
