Essential Functions Overview

The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) serves as the Authorized Organizational Representative (AOR) with responsibilities that encompass submitting, negotiating, and accepting awards on behalf of the Board of Regents.

Throughout the sponsored project life cycle, OSP provides comprehensive support, including proposal submission, award negotiation, and execution, as well as both financial and non-financial post-award services.

Effective sponsored project management is a collaborative effort that relies on substantial contributions from various stakeholders, including the Project Director/ Principal Investigator (PD/PI), department/college, and OSP.

The division of responsibilities within each college or major unit is determined by the respective Dean/Director/Chair of each college/unit.
