Effective Immediately - Minimum Notice of Intent to Submit a Proposal Deadline
11/29/2023
To streamline operations and address the complexity of compliance requirements from diverse funding sources, OSP has revised the Minimum Notice of Intent to Submit a Proposal Deadline. This ensures that we can allocate resources, conduct thorough reviews, and offer comprehensive support to our research and creative activity community.
Key Highlights:
- NuRamp Form Approval: The NuRamp Form must have internal approvals obtained (routing complete) a minimum of five (5) business days before the sponsor deadline.
- Avoid Last-Minute Submissions: Waiting until the Minimum Notice of Intent to Submit deadline is strongly discouraged.
Updated Deadline and Timeline Breakdown:
- 15 Business Days Prior: Projects involving Cost-Share/Matching commitments, Subawardees/Subcontractors, F&A Waiver Requests, and International Sponsors. Provides ten (10) business days for internal elements and five (5) days for routing and approvals.
- 10 Business Days Prior: Applicable to projects with Domestic Sponsors or involving Letters of Intent, White Papers, and Pre-Proposals with budgetary information. Requires ten (10) business days for review and approval.
- 7 Business Days Prior: Projects with UNO as a Subaward from another entity. Requires seven (7) business days for review and approval.
We appreciate your immediate attention to this update. By adhering to these timelines, both OSP and our research and creative activity community contribute to the success of externally funded projects. For more detailed information, please refer to Deadlines 101: Must-Knows.
Thank you for your continued commitment to excellence, integrity, and compliance in sponsored initiatives.
