Christine Billings

Omaha – Billings earned her master’s degree in counseling from UNO in 2003 and is a doctoral candidate in education at Colorado State University. She brings over 20 years of higher education experience with an emphasis in adult and nontraditional students. She comes most recently from Creighton University’s College of Professional Studies in the role of assistant dean and director of the Bachelor of Science in Leadership program and of summer sessions.

I’m honored to return to my alma mater and look forward to working with the exceptional faculty, staff, and students to support the work of DCS and the broader community.”

 Christine Billings

“UNO has established itself as an institution that honors and celebrates the diverse needs and experiences of our students. The Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies is just one option, among many, for students to consider,” said Billings. “By providing flexible learning opportunities for adult and contemporary learners, the Division of Continuing Studies contributes to the advancement of UNO’s transformative, socially responsible mission. I’m honored to return to my alma mater and look forward to working with the exceptional faculty, staff, and students to support the work of DCS and the broader community.”

Billings will provide strategic vision, direction, and support for the Division of Continuing Studies. In addition to supporting the marketing, recruiting, and retention efforts at the Dodge street campus, she will lead the Division’s outreach activities at the Offutt AFB office that serves active duty military students and spouses. Billings will also be responsible for program development and the administration of online and off-campus DCS-sponsored courses.
