Information regarding directions and parking for students and visitors to the College of Public Affairs and Community Service.

The College of Public Affairs and Community Service (CPACS), is located on the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) campus, which is centrally located in the city of Omaha, Nebraska. The CPACS building can be found just east of the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center, on Maverick Plaza.

Directions by Car

The GPS address for the University of Nebraska Omaha campus is 6001 Dodge Street.

West Entrance
From Dodge Street turn onto University Drive West, then left onto University Drive North.

East Entrance
From Dodge Street turn onto University Drive East, then right onto University Drive North.

Directions for Walking or Bicycling

You can use Google Maps to find your bicycling, walking, or bus route. Just type in your starting location and destination and choose the appropriate icon to get directions.

Bus

The Omaha Metro bus route is available online. An active MavCard can be used as a bus pass. Scan or show your ID to the driver.

ORBT makes stops every 15-20 minutes at 62nd and Dodge Street, north of the Milo Bail Student Center. The station for an eastbound ORBT is on the south side of Dodge Street. The station for the westbound ORBIT is on the north side of Dodge Street. ORBT arrives every 10 minutes between 5 A.M. and 7 P.M., and every 15 or 20 minutes until 11:30 P.M.

#11 passes close by on Leavenworth Street with a 15-minute walk through Elmwood Park to campus.

#15/55 operates frequently on Center Street—you can walk from there or pick up a Maverick shuttle near 67th and Pine which will drop you off on the south side of Criss Library. View the Shuttle Map.

Parking on the UNO Campus

There are designated lots on the UNO campus for visitors, students, staff, and faculty. Visit the Parking Services website for more information.

Student parking areas are designated by the red parking lot signs, and faculty/staff parking areas are designated by the green parking lot signs. Visitors may park in the East Garage on University Drive East after 12:30 for a $2 entry fee, or receive a one-day parking permit from Parking Services; or at meters located throughout the campus.

Handicap parking is also available on campus.
