Mavforensics' first in-person tournament season since 2019 brings top placements, awards, and well-deserved recognition for their hard work.

The UNO Art Club, a long-standing student organization at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, is a creative group focused on preparing for life after college with career development and opportunities, and organizing projects like making paper pulp seed bombs to make a difference in the local environment.

The journalists earned first-time wins in several categories as they attended the two-day conference in Minneapolis, earning a total of 18 Eric Sevareid awards.

UNO's broadcasting and journalism expertise leads to student achievements being honored by the Broadcasting Education Association as part of their 2022 Recognition of Institutional Excellence in Media. Areas like MavRadio, KVNO, the Omaha News, UNO TV, and the Journalism and Media Communication contribute to our students' excellent creative achievement.
