Welcome to the University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Communication, Fine Art and Media's (CFAM) home on the Internet.
The College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media (CFAM) is dedicated to inspiring cultural growth, artistic expression and creative activity through innovative application of both practical and theoretical knowledge across three schools comprising five academic units. With curriculum incorporating elements of liberal arts, the humanities and the social sciences, CFAM graduates are well prepared to succeed in their chosen creative and professional disciplines.
The college's nationally-known faculty of artists, performers, writers, and scholars guide students' progress with opportunities for one-on-one teacher/student interactions and hands-on learning experiences, as well as the chance to develop close working relationships with other students in small, informal class settings.
UNO’s location in a diverse metropolitan area enhances the CFAM experience, though our reach is global. It is immensely gratifying to witness the eagerness and ability of our scholars to create bridges to the world through the various disciplines housed in our college. Whether traveling overseas or bringing the world here by performing the works of international masters, or broadcasting news and opinions on world events through our radio and television stations, the College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media is Omaha’s portal to our planet.
Though our progam offerings are diverse in nature, we are united by the forces of imagination and creative expression. I invite you to explore our site and consider how a degree from UNO's College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media can benefit you.
