UNO Child Care Center Happenings: Mark Your Calendars
Week of the Young Child: April 7 through 11, 2025
Musical Monday, April 7, 2025.
We will have a Monday morning Dance party at 9:30 A.M.
Tasty Taco Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
We will have Taco’s for lunch and a special snack.
Work Together Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
As a team, we must work together.
Have your child wear their favorite sport team shirt.
Artsy Thursday, April 10, 2025
Have your child wear their favorite color to school.
Family Friday, April 11, 2025.
From 3 to 6 P.M. Car Seat Safety Check UP Event in Parking Lot H
From 4 to 5:30 P.M. Come grab some fun take home activities to do with your child.
Each Lead Teacher will have tables set up with a take home activity. We will have a free book for you to take.
Grab a take home snack. Hope to see you there.
Preschool 2 Graduation: Friday, May 2, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at Thompson Alumni Center
All Preschool 2 Graduates need to be at the child care center by 9:30 A.M.
We will be walking over to the Alumni Center at 9:40 A.M. to get ready for the event.
Parking passes for the Alumni Center Lot will be emailed out the day before the event.
Parents, Grandparents and Guests are welcome.
Preschool 1 and Transition classes will be going over to watch the graduation.
Stretch-N-Grow Dance Recital , Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 3 P.M. at Thompson Alumni Center
This event is for the children who are participating in Dance Lessons.
Parents, Grandparents and Guests are welcome.
Parking passes for the Alumni Center Lot will be emailed out the day before the event.
The Transition, Preschool & Pre-K classes will be walking over to watch the recital and will return by 3:30 P.M.
The UNO Child Care Center CLOSES promptly at 5:30 P.M.
Please make sure you are picking up your child by 5:30 P.M. Your account will be charged $1.00 late pick-up fee for every minute you are late picking up your child past 5:30 P.M. and you will be responsible for paying this fee. If you are unable to be here by 5:30 P.M., please make other arrangements to have someone else pick up your child. You need to call the Child Care Center and let us know. We thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Outside Play & Walks
As the weather is getting warmer, the children are playing outside and will go for walks on campus. You may want to bring in a light jacket for the warmer afternoons instead of a coat. Sunscreen permission slips have gone out. Approved sunscreens will be listed on the form.
