In accordance with the Federal Privacy Act, as well as University Policy, we will not knowingly release information about a student's account to anyone who is not the student.

Federal Privacy Act (FERPA)

Parents, spouses or children of a student will not be given information without the consent of the student. If you would like any information to be given to another party, please complete the online guest access process. This process also needs to be completed for a guest to make payments on your student account.

The student account will be noted with the person/s the student has provided guest access to once complete.

Parents of Dual Enrollment or Early Entrance Students

You must have your son or daughter complete the guest access process through their UNO student account in order to receive information regarding your son or daughter's account. Please follow these instructions for providing guest/parent access.

Although the university realizes that these students are generally under age 18, the FERPA laws pertain to all students attending classes at UNO.
