Bio
Dr. Soonhee Kim is a Professor of Public Administration at the Korea Development Institute (KDI) School of Public Policy and Management, and is a Senior Research Associate at Center for Technology and Information Policy in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University. Professor Kim’s areas of expertise include public management, human resources management, e-government, and leadership development. Professor Kim serves as an editor of international features in the Public Administration Review and as editorial board member for the Springer Book Series on Governance and Citizenship in Asia, Review of Public Personnel Administration, International Review of Public Administration, and Public Integrity. She also serves as co-chair of the IIAS Study Group on Trust and Public Attitudes. She is the 2010 recipient of the Julia B. Henderson Award by the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA)’s Section of Women in Public Administration, honoring her commitment to international public administration. She also received Young Alumni Award for Excellent Teaching and Research in 2005.
