Health & Wellness at UNO

  1. UNO
  2. Student Life
  3. Health and Wellness

Wellness means overall well-being. It incorporates the mental, emotional, physical, occupational, intellectual, and spiritual aspects of a person's life. Each aspect of wellness can affect the overall quality of life, so it's important to consider all areas.

Crisis & Pandemic Fatigue (a.k.a. Burnout)

Situations that cause ongoing stress can take a toll on the mind and body. Crisis fatigue is a response to the prolonged stress that develops due to unexpected or difficult events, such as war, economic depressions, or a pandemic.

The links below may provide some ways to understand the impact of stress on you and help you through difficult situations.

UNO Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is available to all enrolled students regardless of modality (i.e. in-person or online classes). Please call 402.554.2409 to schedule an appointment.
